Summer Housing

Colorado College offers on-campus housing to enrolled Summer Session students, MAT students, visiting undergraduates, Student Research (SCoRE) participants, and participants of other college summer programming.

All enrolled students have the option to live off-campus during the summer season.

The 2023 Summer Housing Application will be available via the StarRez housing portal by April 21st.  Students must complete their housing application no later than May 5, 2023 Summer housing will be posted to student accounts prior to the beginning of Summer Session on May 10, 2023, along with required meal plan costs. Summer Housing costs vary depending on the type of housing and the length of stay. Any financial request or support regarding Summer Housing needs to be submitted to Summer Session. 

For Summer 2023, all summer housing will be in Mathias Hall.

Summer Housing Applications

Extended Stay

May 24-29 (available only to graduates and Spring Semester on-campus residents enrolled in Summer Session Block A. Requires RLC approval).

Application Opens: April 17, 2023

Application Closes: May 19, 2023

The Extended Stay application is available via the housing portal
Gap Housing  May 25 - May 31 (available to all students who applied through the housing portal. Students requesting Gap Housing will be charged per night. However, students who requested Block A Housing for a Block A class will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing - Gap Housing will be included in their Block A charge. This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus)

Gap Housing August 16 - August 26 (available to all students who applied for Block C Summer Housing through Summit and will automatically be applied to their Summer assignment approved timeline. Students who are here for Block C will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing as it will be included in their Block C charge - IF they have a Fall 2023 assignment. This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus. However, any students requesting to arrive on campus and move in during the Gap Housing dates will be considered "Early Arrivals" and will be charged per night. Early Arrival Dates and Process will be announced soon.)

Extended Stay
5/25 – 5/29: Graduating students and those enrolled in Summer Session only

$37/day for a double or triple room; $40/day for a single room for students who are not graduating/not staying on campus for Block A

Block A/B/C – Triple Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$842 per block

Block A/B/C – Double Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$892 per block

Block A/B/C – Single Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$988 per block

Daily Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students involved in summer research, as well as those needing housing outside of the summer program dates noted above. This includes early arrivals and late departures of students enrolled in the current academic year and/or summer programs

$37/per person per night – double room & Cottages
$40/per person per night – single room & Apartments

Gap Housing Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students requesting late departures after Block 8 ends and early arrivals before Block 1 beings. Gap Housing Dates: May 25 - May 31 & August 16 - 27
